Mr. Mathew Nyabena is the founder of Mathew Nyabena & Company Advocates and has engaged in private practice over 20 years.

He is an alumni of The University of Nairobi where he graduated with Honours in Bachelors of Laws (LLB Hons) and has enrolled masters at UON. He also attended the Kenya School of Law where he graduated with a postgraduate diploma in Laws.

He was admitted to the bar as an Advocate in the year 2001. Later worked at Mose & Mose Advocates and worked as an Associate Advocate in various firms before setting up his own firm in 2004.

He has handled various civil and criminal cases and has gained experience as an Accomplished Litigator.

He holds a current practicing certificate and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society. He is also a former chairperson of Mombasa Law Society.

¬ Reviewing contracts/agreement between Banks and third parties for example agreements on modes of repayment of loans and so forth.

¬Preparation of charges, mortgages, debentures, deeds of indemnity, deeds of hypothecation, chattels mortgages, leases and agreements for sale and transfers under all the regimes of law applicable in Kenya .
